一、教学设计思路
结合多媒体，利用图片、视频等帮助学生记忆相关国家的词汇；设置情境，帮助学生通过听说练习掌握所学句型。
二、教学目标
(一)知识
1. 掌握如何谈论人们的国籍、居住城市及所说语言：canada, france, japan, the united states, australia, singapore, the united kingdom, sydney, new york, paris, toronto, tokyo, french, japanese, pen pal, where is your ... from? he/she’s from ... what language does he/she speak? he/she speaks ...
2. 掌握如何询问并回答人们的住处：where does he/she live? he/she lives in ...
3. 掌握给笔友写信的方法。

能对世界上主要国家和城市有大致的了解。

了解世界，开拓眼界。
