针对文章内容和结构的特点，本课以培养学生阅读比较信息和归纳信息的能力为主，分别将获取的信息通过列表比较，图片匹配，问答游戏等方式，进行比较，使学生找到各国节日庆祝方式的相同和不同之处，归纳总结各国节日产生的原因，推理出人们到对节日的态度，探究到节日是人类对生活怀有美好祝福的心理，是生命的传承实践，从而提高学生跨文化交际的能力和意识。
